Finally, new music from Mojo’s Army! The drought ends with a dark, menacing groove called “Shadow Me”. Lyrics written during this year’s FAWM, and completed recently as the first of a new wave of Mojo’s Army tunes to begin populating the upcoming album “Dissonance.” Check it out here on Soundcloud!

New Album! “Undercover”
Undercover is a compilation of cover songs spanning the first 10 years of Mojo’s Army music. From the very first recording I did (The Green Manalishi) to my most recent release Need You Tonight, only available as of this album, Undercover covers it all.
It includes my first released single (Little Boxes), and my first collaboration with another singer, Deb Criveau, killing it on She Bop and the very popular Missionary Man. Included also is Gowan’s A Criminal Mind, a cover I began back in 2012 as an online request, but never finished until now. (I hope you’re still listening, wherever you are!). All the songs that were previously released as singles have been remastered for this album and sound better than ever.
Yes it’s 80s heavy — no question, the 80s had some great songs that have stood the test of time. Also, as a former MTV junkie, I can’t help but give props to those formative years, getting my musical taste expanded far and wide with exposure to all those great (and some not so great) videos.
I feel like I was successful bending these songs to my own style and making them my own, as is the hallmark of all good cover songs. I hope you enjoy listening to them as much as I enjoyed making them!
Keep rockin!
Mojo
