Sweet Release Coming Soon!

Big Tips CoverThe fifth official Mojo’s Army release, “Big Tips” will drop on March 20, 2012!

“Big Tips” is a small collection of our most club-worthy tunes, including a remastered “Sex and Candy” (previously available as a single) and the final version of “Tied Up”. These songs have been fully vetted and approved by professional dancers (and even helped win a few contests!)

Why the first day of Spring? Because these tunes have been proven to cause hip grinding, booty shaking, lustful thoughts and possible bunny-like rutting. Just sayin.
Track Listing:

Nasty (Bella Mix) – 2012 Version
Thunderpussy (Salty Sweet Mix) – 2012 Version
Tied Up
Sex and Candy (2012 Version)
Taste Your Love (Wildcat Mix) – 2012 Version

All songs have been remixed and remastered from the original sources. The best part? The MP3 version of “Big Tips” will be available for free at mojosarmy.com, and a high-res version will be available on our bandcamp page for the low low price of $4! That’s gotta be worth a lap dance somewhere…

Last Chance for iTunes and Amazon!

Summer's End CoverHey rockers – as I said last year, we’re pulling our music off of iTunes and Amazon because of the 250% TuneCore price hike, and this week is it!

Mojo’s Army music will still be available for free as MP3s on this site for the forseeable future, and will continue to be available for purchase in high-resolution form through our BandCamp page.

BUT if you have a hankering to support us through iTunes or Amazon, this is your last week to get the “Summer’s End” EP and “Sex and Candy” single through those stores!

Thanks for your support! Rock on!

It’s Quiet… Too Quiet…

Quiet around here lately you say? Here’s why:

In the Fall of 2011 I made a commitment to learning how to do everything that I do, BETTER.

I’ve been hard at work studying and practicing mixing and have beefed up my audio toolbox. I reconfigured my music area to make it easier to play and mix music. I picked up some new pedals for my pedalboard, got my axe professionally set up, and replaced the pickups and pots in my bass. I started a more systematic vocal practice routine. And I studied songwriting.

All that, so that I could bring you Mojo’s Army music sounding better than ever.

And it does.

Now I’m taking a fresh approach to finishing the demo songs you’ve been hearing on Soundcloud, and I will even be going back and reworking my early songs that deserve better treatment than I was able to give them at the time. The first one coming is a completely rerecorded and rearranged “Lipstick on my Whiskey” that is going to knock your panties off. I can hardly wait to finish it!

2012 is going to be a great year!

Rock on!
