Summer’s End FREE EP Drops Dec. 15!

Call us crazy — we are prereleasing the new EP “Summer’s End” independently, right here, on mojosarmy.com on December 15. For free. For you. Yes, knowing that free can sound desperate, knowing that free can sound like it will be worth what you pay for it. Gladly we know it’s better than that.

On December 15 you will be able to download the Summer’s End MP3s here at mojosarmy.com, and stream it in its entirety at Last.fm and SoundCloud. In January, Summer’s End will also be available in high-res versions at iTunes, Amazon.com and Rhapsody.

We want our music on your iPod. We want it in your ears. To that end we say if you like it, download it and pass it along to a friend. If you really like it and think it’s worth something, drop us a PayPal donation to show your support and help keep the music coming. In the meantime we’ll continue to make the best music we can and try to get it placed in a film, game or tv show. (If you know a music director or someone who can make this happen, all the better!)

Selected songs from the “Summer’s End” EP are already playing at our Reverbnation, Facebook, and MySpace sites! Join our mailing list and follow us on Twitter for news of other fan exclusives!

Rock on, and as always, thanks for your support of Mojo’s Army! We salute you!

Speaking of “Summer’s End”, there has been a late lineup change: the strong anthem “Balls in Play” has replaced the struggling “No Right” for the final rotation. The current lineup:

1. Taste Your Love
2. The Beast
3. She
4. Summer’s End
5. Balls in Play

Slated to be released at the end of November along with another surprise or two along the way. Follow us on Twitter and friend us on Facebook to make sure you hear the latest news!

Rock on! And as always, thanks for your support! We wouldn’t be here without you!

Mojo’s Pick of the Week: Thirteen Seven

The music of Edinburgh’s Thirteen Seven is a chewy, nutty candy bar of hooks and riffs that calls Muse to mind as much as it does Stone Temple Pilots. This power trio released their first album “Illuminated” earlier this year and are currently riding a wave of great reviews. Hear them now on the band’s MySpace!
