Yes – a new song from Mojo’s Army! The haunting cover of Nine Inch Nails’ classic “Something I Can Never Have” is available as a single via Bandcamp now! Stream below or view the video on Youtube. This powerful song resonated with me when I first heard it, and I was able to capture an emotional moment of my own in the initial recording.
Fans and friends, 2013 has been a struggle for me. Work and life changes at the beginning of the year left me no time to write or record for months. But I’ve finally settled into a routine and carved out time to sing and record again. This is the fruit of my first full effort to return, and proof that with vision and determination I can still record and release a song in a few short weeks. I’ve had to change my working method yet again — stripped it down and simplified it to allow me to work in the smallest windows of opportunity possible. I appreciate all of you who have stuck with me while I figure this all out!

The namesake of founder Bill Lonero, LoNero is a groundbreaking Bay Area guitar rock band that originated a style they call Guitarcore, which is their term for melodic instrumental rock that stands on its own without the need for a singer! Bill and his hallmark purple Peavey Wolfgang fronts the band with a ferocious dedication to pure musicianship.
Last year they released their acclaimed second album J.F.L. (or Just Fucking Listen), bringing a new twist to their unique brand of guitar rock with groovy “punkstramental” songs like “Fat Tat.”
LoNero prides themselves on their live shows, and are about to embark on a tour as the backing band for Paul Di’Anno, playing classic Iron Maiden from the first two albums.
