Quiet around here lately you say? Here’s why:
In the Fall of 2011 I made a commitment to learning how to do everything that I do, BETTER.
I’ve been hard at work studying and practicing mixing and have beefed up my audio toolbox. I reconfigured my music area to make it easier to play and mix music. I picked up some new pedals for my pedalboard, got my axe professionally set up, and replaced the pickups and pots in my bass. I started a more systematic vocal practice routine. And I studied songwriting.
All that, so that I could bring you Mojo’s Army music sounding better than ever.
And it does.
Now I’m taking a fresh approach to finishing the demo songs you’ve been hearing on Soundcloud, and I will even be going back and reworking my early songs that deserve better treatment than I was able to give them at the time. The first one coming is a completely rerecorded and rearranged “Lipstick on my Whiskey” that is going to knock your panties off. I can hardly wait to finish it!
2012 is going to be a great year!
Rock on!
